Hanger Orthopedic Group moves into The Domain

Aerial of The Domain

After completing an analysis of numerous cities nationwide, Hanger Orthopedic Group announced back in January plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Bethesda, Maryland to Austin, Texas.  The company has since moved into approximately 37,000 square feet of the 75,509 square feet leased at Phase II of The Domain.

The new corporate digs located at 10910 Domain Drive, Suite 300 currently employ 115 people with an additional 30 targeted to be hired by the end of the year.

To entice Hanger to move here, the City of Austin approved $500,000 in incentives over ten years and the Texas Enterprise Fund chipped in a grant of $1.5 million.  In turn, Hanger agreed to have at least 133 new full-time jobs in Austin by the end of 2010 and a total of 250 new full-time jobs in Austin by the end of 2019.
