Live Oak-Gottesman LLC purchased The Shops at Ladera Bend (7300 RM 2222) in Northwest Austin from Wells Fargo on Friday for an undisclosed amount.
Live Oak-Gottesman plans to lease and manage the property. Retail spaces ranging from around 1,050 square feet to 13,000 square feet are available for lease. Current tenants include Collins Endodontics and Anytime Fitness.
California-based KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III, a unit of KBS Capital Advisors LLC, has completed its purchase of Domain Gateway, a 173,962-square-foot office building in Northwest Austin.
It’s one of the largest local office buys this year. The five-floor building was under contract for $48 million, according to Co-Star Realty Information Inc.
VR Business Sales, the business intermediary company, is moving its operation to 11940 Jollyville Road, in order to accommodate its need for more space to support the growing business demand. A local property investor has bought a large Class B office building in Northwest Austin. The deal is one of the largest this year in the local office market. Aspen Growth Properties Inc. sold the 68,639-square-foot Colina West property to MM Value Investment Co. LLC, a group headed by local investor Mark McAllister.

Office Depot Inc. may open a new corporate office at Amber Oaks office park in Northwest Austin, said Joe Vining, vice president of economic development at the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce.
By the end of the year, Polycom Inc. a California-based communications company, will move from its current River Place Corporate Park location at 6500 River Place Blvd. to its new Austin office at 7700 W. Parmer Lane. The new space, double its current size, will accomodate recent and future growth. Polycom hired forty people last year and expects to add another twenty this year.
After five years, Austin-based Spiceworks Inc. outgrew its 12,000 square feet in the Bowie Building at Capital of Texas Plaza. In order to accommodate its planned staff expansion of 35 workers, Spiceworks recently relocated into 27,000 square feet at Ladera Bend located at 7300 FM 2222 near Jester Blvd. …Read Entire Post
