California-based KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III, a unit of KBS Capital Advisors LLC, has completed its purchase of Domain Gateway, a 173,962-square-foot office building in Northwest Austin.
It’s one of the largest local office buys this year. The five-floor building was under contract for $48 million, according to Co-Star Realty Information Inc.
A local property investor has bought a large Class B office building in Northwest Austin. The deal is one of the largest this year in the local office market. Aspen Growth Properties Inc. sold the 68,639-square-foot Colina West property to MM Value Investment Co. LLC, a group headed by local investor Mark McAllister.
The VA Outpatient Clinic, a 67,230 sq ft building on 7.83 acres, located at 2901 Montopolis Blvd., in Southeast Austin, sold May 27, 2011 to Central Health, formerly known as Travis County Healthcare. The VA broke ground June 17th on its new 184,000 sq. ft. outpatient clinic, located on a 35 acre site at 7901 Metropolis Drive, also in Southeast Austin.
Brokers for the transaction to Central Health were Jerry Heare, Joyce Jane Weedman, and Josh Hubka CCIM, of NAI REOC Austin.
Mark Milstead of NAI REOC Austin represented Travis County in its sale of three small commercial buildings totaling 12,366 square feet situated on 10.59 acres located at 9207 – 9301 Johnny Morris Road near Old Manor Road. The buyer was recycler Balcones Resources.
San Francisco-based Spear Street Capital recently purchased University Park Tower, an eight-story office building spanning more than 204,000 square feet located along IH-35 near 34th St. The office tower was foreclosed last June.
California-based Karlin Real Estate LLC recently purchased a 301,644 square-foot industrial building situated on 28.5 acres in the Tech Ridge master-planned commercial development located along the I-35 corridor at 201 Howard Lane in northeast Austin. …Read Entire Post
